Hurricane Milton is churning through the Gulf of Mexico toward Florida. The powerful storm was at a Category 4 status on Wednesday morning. National Weather Service forecasters say it's expected to be a “dangerous major hurricane” when it reaches the Florida coast late Wednesday or early Thursday.
