BJP doesn't know how to do politics without lying, cheating, says Omar Abdullah

National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah criticized the BJP, accusing them of relying on lies and cheating in politics. He claimed the BJP has done nothing for Jammu and Kashmir over the past decade and questioned why Article 371 remains in place while Article 370 was removed. Union Minister JP Nadda countered Abdullah's claims about voter turnout, stating higher percentages than before.

Indigenous leaders in B.C. hope the pace of reconciliation continues through election

Indigenous leaders in B.C. are hoping for the pace of reconciliation to continue following the B.C. election. So far the province has made progress on 60 of 89 actions under its Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act. But as Chad Pawson reports there is concern current politics could stall or reverse the province’s path to reconciling with its First Nations people.
