Israel says Hezbollah leader killed

BEIRUT/JERUSALEM — Israel’s military said the leader of Lebanese militant group Hezbollah was killed late Friday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the group’s headquarters south of Beirut. The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement Saturday that Hassan Nasrallah was "eliminated" in the airstrike along with Ali Karki, the commander of Hezbollah’s southern front and other Hezbollah commanders.
