Some other forums just show the first couple of lines of the quoted post with the rest hidden (but with a button to unhide the full quote). This enables you to see the context of the subsequent post but prevents the thread becoming just a back and forth of huge quoted text.

By the way, forgot to mention. After all the positivity about the game on Monday I forgot to mention that we have some thieving fookers behind the fanzone bar.
A friend of mine went up and gave over a £20 note for 2 beers. Guy behind bar put money straight in his pocket and gave him change from his other pocket.
I always pay by card but it seems if people pay by cash (don’t think they can officially) it’s certainly not going to the club.
