J&K Assembly Polls: Polling begins for 24 seats in first phase of Assembly elections

Polling for the first phase of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections began on Wednesday with tight security. Voting is taking place in 24 constituencies, including 16 in Kashmir and 8 in Jammu. Firozabad factory explosion: Accused arrested after encounter with police

Police have arrested the main accused in an explosion at a firecracker godown-cum-factory that killed five persons including two children, police said on Tuesday. Bhure Khan alias Nabi Abdullaha was arrested following an encounter and suffered a bullet injury on his led, they said.
