Recently, a large retailer that owns thousands of super stores worldwide that sell discounted items implemented a change to its checkout policy. It allowed individual stores to decide if it would place a limit on how many items shoppers could buy using the self checkout kiosks at some of its stores. EU court upholds $2.7 billion antitrust fine on Google

China coal production threatens climate goals: study

China is the world's top emitter of greenhouse gases and remains heavily reliant on coal despite installing renewable energy capacity at record speed. It aims to peak its planet-warming emissions by 2030 and reach net zero three decades later.
