After several years of interest in sailing I'm finally pulling the trigger on a Sailboat. This Saturday I'm picking up an 86 14.2. The current owner got de-masted on his second trip out on the boat. Apparently the wood was rotten and the mast just fell thru and also damaged the cubby box. After a lot of research in regards to fiberglass and decking repair, and also thanks to the "Save the Mistress" posts here and the like, I am 100% confident I can repair the damage stronger than new.
