Heavy rains and extensive mining have worsened the situation, causing widespread cracks in roads, fields, and houses. The Uttarakhand Disaster Management Authority has identified 11 vulnerable villages, with around 450 homes at risk. Locals blame large-scale mining operations for the increasing damage.
