Indian Airforce sends two aircrafts to help with disaster relief in Andhra Pradesh

The Indian Air Force has airlifted 242 NDRF personnel and 30 tons of relief materials to Vijayawada and Shamshabad, Andhra Pradesh, in response to severe flooding. Helicopters are on standby. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Governor S Abdul Nazeer have urged people to stay safe and coordinated rescue efforts are underway.

HC asks Bengal govt to produce documents on arrest of 4 persons over Nabanna march

The Calcutta High Court has asked the West Bengal government to provide all documents related to the arrest of four people in connection with a protest march to Nabanna. The court questioned the justification for their arrest and if proper procedures were followed. The state defended it as a preventive measure by Howrah city police.
