How Trump Can Win (Or Lose)

The American Spectator

I’m in the camp that believes that the presidential election is Donald Trump’s to win or lose. It’s a simple calculus: The undemocratically nominated Kamala Harris (how many Democrats voted for her and how many primary elections did she win?)...

In Time Bandits' season finale, Supreme Being and Pure Evil face off

Avclub.com

At long last, we get some quality Pure Evil time. The Bandits take a ride on a giant’s island hat, straight over to PE’s “Fortress of Darkness.” The big fellow is a friendly sort and “[likes] to help people." Once on land, the gang makes their way through rocks and lava only to be met with a seemingly impregnable rock wall. Impenetrable, that is, until a cave appears and one of the demons emerges. “Oh no. I’ve revealed the secret entrance to the Fortress of Darkness. I do hope nobody follows me in,” he says, loudly. Читать дальше...

Dear Taylor Swift: There Are Better Ways To Respond To Trump’s AI Images Of You Than A Lawsuit

Techdirt

We’ve written a ton about Taylor Swift’s various adventures in intellectual property law and the wider internet. Given her sheer popularity and presence in pop culture, that isn’t itself particularly surprising. What has been somewhat interesting about her as a Techdirt subject, though, has been how she has straddled the line between being a victim […]

Tim Walz does Trump impression at Milwaukee rally

The Independent

During the Harris-Walz campaign rally on Tuesday 20 August, Tim Walz seems to do a Donald Trump impression that leaves the crowd in laughter. Tim Walz highlighted in his speech that their campaign rally happened in the same building as the 2024 Republican National Convention. Walz further disses Trump and the RNC by saying their campaign rally had a “hell of a lot more energy”. Walz goes on to say that their rally would make Donald Trump “ so sad,” while mimicking Trump’s signature hand gestures. Читать дальше...
