Israel ‘waiting’ and ‘preparing’ for any scenario after Haniyeh revenge threats

Tensions are running high in Israel and people brace for a potential response from Hamas and Iran-backed militant groups in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen who have vowed to avenge the killing of Ismail Haniyeh Wednesday. “Israel is just basically waiting and preparing” for any scenario, ABC News Correspondent Jordana Miller told FRANCE 24, citing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

The Delhi Development Authority has stated that a major portion of the drain, where the tragedy struck, had been handed over to the MCD, while the portion under it is covered with RCC slabs. Tanuja and her three-year-old son Priyansh slipped and fell into a waterlogged under-construction drain around 8 pm on Wednesday, amid heavy rain near Khoda Colony in Ghazipur. The two were returning from a weekly market when the incident happened.
