Despite that frequent notoriety online, the young guard actually is enjoying seeing his name circling around NBA trade rumors. “It’s very fun for me actually. I love it,” Podziemski conceded on “The Dinner Table” podcast on July 25. “It’s cool to see different things every day — people’s comments, and if I should be [traded] or shouldn’t be. “For me, from a basketball perspective, social media aside, I try to put that away and just work on what I can control right now.”

Brazil's Copom keeps Selic unchanged

Brazil's Central Bank (BCB) Monetary Policy Committee (Copom) unanimously agreed Wednesday to keep the Selic basic interest rate at 10.5% per year, Agencia Brasil reported. The measure followed through on June's decision to stop the downward cycle that spanned from August last year until March this year, during which the Selic was lowered by 0.5 percentage points at each meeting until in May it was 0.25 percentage points.

OAS fails to pass resolution calling for transparency in Venezuela

The Organization of American States (OAS) Permanent Council was one vote short Wednesday of passing a resolution to demand that Venezuelan electoral authorities publish the minutes of each voting table which would prove there was no fraud last Sunday when the incumbent Nicolás Maduro had been lawfully chosen for the 2025-2031 term.
