India has agreed to consider providing Rs 1,500 crore to Bhutan as part of the Economic Stimulus Programme in the next 18 months following talks between Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Bhutanese leaders. Discussions covered development partnership, energy, trade, connectivity, technology, and regional issues. Both sides expressed satisfaction with past projects and approved new initiatives under the 13th Five-Year Plan, building on strong bilateral cooperation.
