Bangladesh government says ready to hold talks with quota protesters; Army deployed nationwide

Seven deaths and police use of rubber bullets and tear gas were reported. The government plans a Supreme Court appeal and a judicial probe. Clashes began Monday over the 56 per cent quota system.
