RLFANS was good back in the day but the format and inundation with ads has been dreadful for sometime. I can't see how this helps attract new members. And the subscription rates are pretty high for a service that tends to be free for internet message boards on other subjects. I appreciate there are financial and moderator time considerations, but I would personally prefer a straightforward forum without ads like Redvee (worth looking at right now if you miss the 'Smith out' debates).
