RBI proposes to change regulations on export, import transactions

The RBI on Tuesday proposed rationalising regulations that cover export and import transactions with an aim to promote ease of doing business and empower banks to provide more efficient service to their foreign exchange customers. Hathras stampede incident at religious event claims over two dozen lives; 23 women, three children among dead

A stampede at a religious gathering in Hathras district claimed at least 27 lives and injured several others. The incident occurred during a 'satsang' in Pulrai village.
