The board of trustees at Hudson Valley Community College voted to terminate the school’s president. Dr. Roger Ramsammy had been on paid administrative leave since May 15 after an employee filed a complaint against him. Also, asylum seekers who were sent to the Capital Region, by busloads from New York City, were told they would stay here until the end of the school year and for many, that’s this week.
