Ian Khama has 'nothing' to fear in Botswana, says his successor President Mokgweetsi Masisi

In an interview with France 24, Mokgweetsi Massi, President of Botswana, was asked to react on the case of his predecessor, Ian Khama. Botswana is asking for his extradition as there’s a warrant against him for illegal possession of firearms. Ian Khama refuses to come back, saying he risks being poisoned. "A Litany of inconsistencies". Massi commented, saying Khama has “nothing” to fear in Botswana. Mr Khama left office in 2018 after two five-year terms.
