Two years after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the debate over abortion access is playing out in elections and the courts. The 2022 ruling has opened the door for implementing bans in most GOP-controlled states, and some of those bans are being litigated. One study has found the number of abortions by the end of 2023 was higher per month than it was before the court ruling. NEET paper leak row: SC vacation bench to hear pleas seeking probe, cancellation and retest

A vacation bench of the Supreme Court will hear pleas on Friday seeking a probe, cancellation, and retest of the NEET-UG 2024 exam due to alleged question paper leaks and other malpractices. On Thursday, the court issued a notice regarding a plea by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to transfer all related petitions from various High Courts to the Supreme Court.

Multiple people injured in Milwaukee police chase shooting
