Magpies a clear and present danger for flag after another Demon howler

Australian Broadcasting Corporation (sport)

Any team that can survive a hideous injury toll and emerge from that troubled stretch with a draw against Fremantle in Perth, a competitive loss to the Bulldogs and then an impressive victory over a fragile but largely uninjured Melbourne must be viewed as a clear and present danger to Sydney, Carlton and the rest.

Walking football. (12 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

At 64, and having not kicked a ball for the best part of 25 years, I've started playing Walking Football. Two sessions in, really surprised how much I'm enjoying it (although I have to confess I can barely walk for a couple of days afterwards- and, despite being a stone or so overweight, I'm no stranger to the gym and Park run).

Anyone else playing on here? Would love to get involved in an organised competitive set up next season if possible, but not sure where to look- I'm only playing recreationally atm.

My old man has been playing for a few years. He's now near me in Devon (playing for Exeter Strollers :)) but still connected to the Birmingham teams. If anyone needs an intro let me know.

I play in the friendlies on a Friday night. The older lads absolutely love it. By the way, everyone cheats and has a little jog.
