Jharkhand govt allows schools to resume classes from May 13

The Jharkhand government has lifted the suspension of classes for all schools from May 13, following a period of closure due to a severe heatwave. Classes for grades 9-12 will run from 7 am to 11.30 am, excluding certain activities. The decision comes as most parts of the state experience relief from the heatwave due to sporadic rainfall. The Met Department forecasts stable maximum temperatures for the next few days.
