DR Congo and Rwanda-backed M23 rebels sign ceasefire agreement in Qatar

The Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 rebel group on Saturday signed a ceasefire deal to end fighting in eastern Congo following months of Qatari mediation. The agreement follows a separate Congolese-Rwandan peace deal signed in Washington last month.
