Huckberry just went live with its annual summer sale, unleashing a truckload of new deals on warm-weather and some pre-fall gear that shoppers have been waiting to get their hands on. The sale, which runs through July 29, is the first big one since Memorial Day, and it's filled with surprises.

If you're looking for lightweight apparel to get you through the summer, this sale has it. Shorts, unlined blazers, and pants from Huckberry's tech-minded house brand Proof are all on sale, as are lightweight seasonal favorites from brands like Relwen, Wellen, and Flint and Tinder. There's also a trove of gear and accessories from Carhartt WIP, from belts to backpacks and beyond. After Men's Journal shopped through this year's summer sale at Huckberry, we found four absolute steals that are worth an immediate add-to-cart.

Proof Rover 7-Inch EDC Short in Salt, $49 (was $98) at Huckberry

The last few site-wide sales at Huckberry have featured some of Proof's iconic styles, like the 72-Hour T-Shirt and the Rover EDC Pant, and this sale is no different. The Rover EDC Short, the abridged version of the latter, is this sale's best pick-up at under $50 while the markdowns are live. It's only on sale in a single color, Salt, but if you think of it the way you would a classic pair of khaki shorts, it might be the last pair you buy this summer. Ready for anything, it features a cotton-poly fabric that's breathable, moisture-wicking, flexible, and reliably comfortable through continued wear. It has seven total pockets for toting all your everyday carry gear, and it should be a great length for most guys with its 7-inch inseam.

What Shoppers Are Saying: "These shorts fit great and are really comfortable. I like that the fabric feels natural, not plasticky. My phone (iPhone 15 Pro) fits in the thigh pocket and doesn't slip out."

Proof Nomad Blazer in Olive, $114 (was $228) at Huckberry

Summer is hard for guys who have to look sharp, but Proof's Nomad Blazer offers a quick and classy solution. This unlined tech blazer is made from a mid-weight polyester fabric that allows it to breathe, allows you to flex, and will be far more life-proof than cotton with its DWR coating. It's the one you'll insist on packing for work trips or a weekend getaway this summer, during which a date night might ensue. You'll find it marked down to this rock-bottom price in Olive and Khaki, though other colors are on sale at a slightly higher price.

What Shoppers Are Saying: "Was looking for a summer blazer; it’s light and breezy with a stretchy feel that is uber comfy. Turns jeans and a T-shirt into a night out in style. Turns slacks and a polo or collared shirt into business casual."

Carhartt WIP Kickflip Backpack in Liberica, $71 (was $118) at Huckberry

Courtesy of Huckberry

There is a ton of great gear from Carhartt's WIP label on sale at Huckberry right now, but one piece we have our sights on is this unnecessarily handsome canvas backpack. It's called the "Kickflip" because it's built for skateboarders who need something that can carry a deck, but we'd wager a guess that it's probably very well suited for anybody. The main compartment is 24.8 liters, and it's decked out with pockets on the front and side. To us, this means it'd be great for hiking, but any commuter would do well to make this their daily driver because it's virtually city-proof.

Why It's Awesome: Its horizontal clips are there to wrap around a skateboard, but it can just as easily hold hiking sticks, a yoga mat, or even a basketball if you criss-cross them.

Flint and Tinder Waffle Overshirt in Olive, $74 (was $148) at Huckberry

The term "summer shirt jacket" might seem like an oxymoron, but leave it to Flint and Tinder, purveyor of practically perfect outerwear, to come through with an ingenious design. This lightweight overshirt dons the classic waffle pattern you'd expect to see on a robe at a luxury spa and is absolutely perfect for late nights on the beach, early morning walks with the pooch, or chasing the kids around the yard. It's on sale in both olive and navy, but the former is a much better deal.

Why It's Awesome: It's a trustworthy layer that won't make you overheat on cool summer nights when a hoodie might be a little bit too much.
