Dog who's full of energy and love is ready for his forever home
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - Meet John Lennon! He is currently up for adoption at the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center.
John Lennon is a 1-year-old pit bull mix and has been with the shelter since September. He's playful and full of energy.
"Toys are definitely the way to his heart," said Becca Moser, who's the behavior coordinator at the shelter. "He will occupy himself for hours with toys, and he likes to play with you with toys."
The pup loves to play fetch and tug and absolutely loves anything that squeaks. John Lennon knows how to sit and is open to learning new commands and tricks, according to Moser. He is good with all people, dogs, he's housebroken and would be good in an active home.
"He is a friend to all, he's very loving and affectionate," said Moser. "He's just a good boy and he's just ready to find his forever home with the perfect people."
John Lennon is available for meet and greets at the Franklin County Dog Shelter, which is located at 4340 Tamarack Blvd. Below are some additional adoptable dogs at the shelter:
