Nokia selected by Vodafone Idea as major 4G & 5G partner in India

On Saturday, Nokia announced it has been selected by Vodafone Idea (Vi) as a major partner for 4G and 5G in India. This announcement follows Vi's recent $3.6 billion deal with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung for network equipment over three years. Vi, which has raised ₹24,000 crore by selling shares, aims to implement a ₹55,000 crore capital expenditure plan to expand 4G coverage and launch 5G in key markets.
