Love Island feud revealed as star claims former best friend ‘blanks her in public’ saying ‘I can’t be bullied’
A LOVE Island star has admitted it’s all “gone wrong” with her former co-star best mate.
They admitted they hadn’t seen their ITV2 villa pal “in ages” and, when they did, they were “blanked” in public.
We previously flagged a feud between 2023 Love Island beauties Whitney Adebayo, 26, and Ella Thomas, 24, who became close pals in the villa.
Now Whitney has candidly opened up on the fallout with sister Lizzy on her What’s It Giving? podcast.
It came after eagle-eyed fans spotted the girls no longer followed each other on Instagram.
Whitney’s boyfriend Lochan Nowacki, 25, has also unfollowed Ella.
Whitney addressed the fracas on her YouTube channel and said: “This whole Ella thing I couldn’t even pinpoint where it all went wrong but it’s gone wrong anyways.
“I haven’t seen her in ages
“And we have never argued or anything it’s just been her weirdo stans online.
“But in real life nothing actually happened.”
Whitney then detailed how she went to a recent event and saw the Scottish model in a more “intimate” setting.
She recalled: “She [Ella] came in, she was literally saying hello to everyone and ignored me.
“I was thinking ‘oh OK.’
“Then I was sitting down with someone and we were just talking, then she comes into our conversation, has a full-blown conversation with the girl in front of me.”
She then surmised: “It was an attempt, I would say, to bully me.
“But I can’t be bullied, please.

Beauty mogul Whitney entered the villa on Day 3, and experienced highs and lows on the hit ITV2 reality show, stealing contestant Andre Furtado, 22, the same day she entered into the villa.
She coupled up with Mehdi Edno, 26, on Day 5, and in a surprising turn of events, she took personal trainer Zachariah Noble, 26, out on a date but their chemistry would soon fizzle out.
Her luck changed in Week 5, when Windsor-born Lochan entered Cara Amor on Day 26. On Day 31, Whitney chose to couple up with Lochan.
The show favourites lost out on the winning spot to Jess Harding, 23, and Sammy Root, 23 on the show finale on Day 58.
She recently told how the pair were planning to move in together.
Yet in July 2024, eyebrows were raised after the pair unfollowed each other on social media then attended an event together – leaving some fans calling out a “publicity stunt.”
“I’m not a victim so I don’t want no pity party.”
Fans were left divided by the dialogue, with one taking to Reddit to remark: “I think this is just a classic case of two big personalities that clash. It’s never been that deep and I really wish the stans would leave both of them alone. Just support who you want and let the rest be.”
Another mused: “Oh I thought she put it to bed I guess not.”
A third wrote: “S10 post season drama will never end lol I’ll be hearing about these lot in 10 years time.”
