Pope Francis has cancelled all his scheduled meetings for Monday due to experiencing “flu-like symptoms,” as confirmed by the Vatican. Despite this, his upcoming visits to Luxembourg and Belgium, set to begin on Thursday, are currently expected to proceed as planned. The 87-year-old Pope has decided to reduce his activities for the day as a precautionary measure to ensure he can fulfil his foreign commitments without interruption. This decision is particularly prudent given his recent health issues, which have included the use of a wheelchair for the past two years due to knee and back problems.
