Skoda Kylaq: Czech car maker picks Sanskrit name for its compact SUV to challenge Fronx, Nexon, and 3XO

Skoda announced the name of its new subcompact SUV for India, named 'Kylaq,' slated for a 2025 launch. Selected through a public campaign, Kylaq follows the brand's naming convention. Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, it features split headlamps and LED DRLs. The powertrain is expected to be similar to the Skoda Kushaq's 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine.
