Top BSF official reviews operational preparedness along India-Bangladesh border

Additional Director General Ravi Gandhi of the BSF's Eastern Command conducted a four-day review of the India-Bangladesh border areas under the Guwahati Frontier. He met with officials to discuss the security scenario, challenges, and anti-crime measures. Gandhi evaluated the Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS) and visited Dhubri sector and riverine outposts on the Brahmaputra. The review's objective was to ensure robust border security and effective crime control strategies. The visit aimed to keep the border free of illegal activities and enhance operational preparedness.
