LOVE Island star Savanna Darnell looks worlds away from her time in the villa, having followed in her famous dad’s footsteps with a pop career.

Savanna, 28, appeared in Casa Amor during the 2018 series, hoping the experience would change her life – but later said she ended up humiliated on TV and fell out with her family members.

Now, she’s turned her back on reality telly and is hoping to forge a name for herself in music.

Her latest single, Lost Your Mind, was self-released last Thursday – but only appears to have reached 15 views on YouTube.

Savanna’s other tracks include Boyfriend, Bye Bye and Vegan P***y.

But it’s not just her career that’s changed as Savanna’s ditched her blonde bob for a stunning braided look instead.

The Sheffield lass entered as a bombshell on day 26, but failed to catch the eye of any of the boys.

The Northern beauty, whose father is American singer Kid Creole, later hit out at the show in a bombshell interview with OK!

She said: “I was living with my brother in London at the time, and he didn’t want me to go on the show. He thought it was trashy and not something he wanted his little sister taking part in. We had a huge argument and still don’t really speak to this day.”

Savanna claims she was told she was likely to be in the original line-up for her series, but ended up getting sent home from Spain after bosses decided she wouldn’t work.

She was flown out once again for Casa Amor, but was devastated when she didn’t get picked by Wes Nelson and claims she was barely given any airtime.

“Out of the six girls, only two of us weren’t chosen. It was the most embarrassing moment in my whole entire life. I had to watch as they excitedly prepared to move across to the main villa – I just felt sick,” Savanna said.

“I can’t even remember the flight back to the UK. I’ve completely blocked it out of my memory. Recently, I finally started having therapy, but I just haven’t been able to discuss it all yet.

“I fell into a deep black hole of depression.”

Savanna struggled seeing the likes of Zara McDermott and Dani Dyer landing work and attending star studded events while she had nothing.

ITV has a series of duty of care protocols in place to protect those taking part in the show.

They confirmed at the time: “Extensive welfare measures remain in place to provide support to programme participants before, during and after filming.

“Ahead of this series, contributors on the show will be offered video training and guidance covering inclusive language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, behaviours and microaggressions.”
